Sharing information

Networking is an important part of what we do. Community groups are short of funds, have a great deal of knowledge, and when we work together we can have a much better impact.

MAIN Trust is working with iNaturalist NZ, using GIS analysis on datasets provided by citizen scientists. We have been involved in many MBIE 'Curious Minds' projects, and some of these have contributed educational resources to our site, CitSci Taranaki. Login as a guest.

We are founder members of the "Citizen Science Association of Aotearoa / NZ". Given the current level and recent growth of citizen science in New Zealand the time has come for a NZ-wide entity to play a networking function and act as a conduit for people to make contacts and organise training events and other useful support services.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Association, or joining, please contact them here.
